This professional level Seminaries and Institutes of Religion (S&I) position manages the S&I stake-called teacher workforce. This position exists to ensure that stake-called teaching is aligned with approved S&I curriculum and that local Priesthood leaders’ needs are met. As a representative of Seminaries and Institutes you are expected to set the example of learning and living the gospel of Jesus Christ. The role requires both the leadership of people and effective management of the program.

Responsibilities
Interfaces with the area director, stake-called teachers, HQ staff and management, priesthood leaders, parents and students, and manages the affairs of all assigned programs Receives direction from and counsels with the area director Trains stake-called teachers Provide inservice training throughout the coordinating area. Improve the learning experience for all youth and young adults enrolled in the programs. Oversee financial matters Performs administrative duties to track and report teaching activities Manage operations, information, reports, resources, and programs. Seek to manage, prioritize, and balance time appropriately. Demonstrates the ability to teach effectively and administer appropriately Supervises employees and stake-called teachers Provides orientation materials and opportunities for professional development

Qualifications
Must hold a current/valid Temple Recommend Recognized Bachelors degree (preferably in education) 5 – 6 years class room teaching experience Management experience within the educational environment Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel and Presentation 4 – 6 years basic finance and administration experience. Previous leadership and training experience outside and inside the church. Current/valid driver’s license Applicants Must: Exemplify the Church teachings regarding marriage and family life; Have a strong personal testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; Have a commitment to the spiritual growth of the Youth and Young Single Adult’s and demonstrates the ability to relate to, and communicate effectively with them.
