Descrição da Vaga: We are looking for a Director for the Centre based in Dubai, DIFC to represent and contribute to the overall promotion of IE University in the Gulf region (Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE).
This strategic regional management role resembles a business development position with marketing and sales responsibilities.
(S)/he will operate in cross-functional environment, and collaboratively manage or work closely with a matrix of units including Marketing, Corporate Relations, Communications as well as Enrollment and Admissions Services.
As a contributing member of the Global Markets team, (s)/he will develop and implement a strategic plan to tap into the various countries under that umbrella to promote the IE brand among companies, students, Alumni, government institutions, education organizations, media, and other partners and target groups.
The Director must be an advocate of technology usage to manage the candidate experience and make use of the institutional tools provided to effectively manage the recruitment process, and market development actions generally.
Develop strategies to enter new markets and recruit candidates for Master and Undergraduate Degrees, as well as Executive Education programs, and implement them.Develop and implement strategies for building brand awareness for IE within the existing and target markets.Plan & execute commercial events to promote IE in the market(s) including representing IE in Educational Fairs, local or regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, career days, etc.Coordinate Marketing Campaigns to feed registration to IE commercial events with the Marketing team and the regional team in Madrid.Identify, build and develop new corporate relationships with strategic organizations and companies within the market, in coordination with the Corporate Relations team at IE.Support the Alumni Clubs, coordinate events for the Alumni community in the region and identify new members of this growing community.Motivate, lead and mentor the local Dubai Centre Team Stay up to date about competitors’ activities in the market and update Regional Director (RD). Represent IE at important events in the region, local mass media management.Attend local training organized by IE.Report to the Regional Director on the activities in the region.MBA or a Masters’ degree from IE, or other leading school.At least 4 years of direct professional experience in business development, sales, marketing and/or communications.Strategic, hungry and courageous for tapping into new markets.Creative and innovative in their approaches.Business English is a formal requirement, Arabic and Spanish are a big plus.A general understanding of CRM and marketing analytics software, and an able user of technology for performance management. Proven communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit and commercial drive.Must exhibit strong teamwork capability and a positive customer-oriented style.
