Nestlé Angola is currently looking for a Corporate Communication & Public Affairs Manager who will bring permanent decision support to the Division head and to the managers of all key business functions.

Monitor, communicate and challenge the performance of the business. Ensure proper internal control on all major & critical business processes.

To enhance and strengthen Nestlé’s corporate reputation with external and internal stakeholders; to create a communications environment that fosters positive attitude, openness, engagement, and exceptional performance; to build recognition of Nestlé as the leading Nutrition Health & Wellness (NHW) organisation; to enhance Creating Shared Value (CSV) objectives; to influence regulatory policy to facilitate business operations.

A day in the life of…

Develop and deliver the annual Creating Shared Value (CSV) planDevelop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and stakeholders to strengthen the company’s reputation Manage CSV media requests and stories Identify and monitor public issues on CSV which influence public perceptions Mobilize internal and external networks to manage and mitigate CSV ‘issues’ Implement and manage CSV / NHW projects Maintain the Corporate Contacts database

What Will Make You Successful
Strong public and corporate affairs track-record (5 – 10 years)Experience of not-for-profit organisationExperience of media relations managementExperience of managing community projects Crisis management and change management experience desirableGood understanding of national regulations, policies, and directionFamiliarity with food business operations including manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain, sales, finance, legal, safety and securityKnowledge of NHW policies, Corporate Business Principles, CSV objectives and business policiesDeep understanding of influence networks and channel strategiesHave required documentation to work in Angola Proficiency in English and Portuguese
