Our Operations Department in Luanda is now looking for a Constrution Engineer

What will you be doing?
Work with the Project Team, Aker Solutions and BP, to develop high quality deliverable, primarily Jobcards and required requisitionsProvide support to the construction group, engineering and supply chain departments within the projectDevelopment of jobcards in line with construction requirements, commissioning strategy and offshore execution plansSupport the resolution of Site Queries for responsible scope including all necessary work to ensure Queries can be closed, i.e. revisions or new creation of jobcards, requisitions, etc Responsible for raising requisitions where required to support work preparation process.Responsible for ensuring 6 week gate compliance of all scopes planned offshore is achievedTravel offshore as appropriate in the pursuit of project delivery
We Think You Should Have
In depth understanding of the Offshore Oil & Gas IndustryIn depth knowledge and understanding in all key aspects of construction & commissioning.Knowledge and understanding of project planning, systems and toolsStrong commercial awareness within the execution of construction workscopesRelevant demonstrable experience within a similar environment / industry.Upstream knowledge of oil & gas projects.Demonstrable management, leadership and technical experience within construction environmentSelf Motivated, proactive and reactive to customer needsDelivery focusedExcellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively within the organisation and with external clients / customersAn ability to build strong, effective working relationships across delivery streams
