What You Will Do
Follow safety policies to provide a safe workplace for all employees and supports the guiding principles of Goal Zero to continually improve the plant’s safety, health and environmental performance, security, design, development, manufacture, storage, marketing, distribution, use and ultimate safe disposal of chemical products. Drive culture of safety; Report safety observations / incidentsSupports and is committed to the Quality Improvement Process. Plans strategies to ensure error-free work by “doing it right the first time” and conveys this attitude in the daily performance of various duties, in our drive continuous improvementUnderstand and complete required safety trainingLearn and maintain all safety and environmental practices and procedures, including the operation and maintenance of assigned company vehicleComply with company safety policy (Goal Zero, ZTP, BBSM, etc.)Ensure mitigation of hazards (PPE, SOS, RA, H2S awareness, etc.)Adhere to the district Intellex safety reporting expectationsParticipate in monthly District safety meeting to demonstrate safety awareness and knowledge based on job roleExhibit/Model leadership, accountability and coach others in all areas of safety and also promotes active participation in customer and corporate safety programsAccountable for making sure all sales personnel understands and complies with all safety processes in customer’s plant and fieldAccountable for internal SHE deliverables and reporting metrics from direct reportsOFC & DS only: Exhibit leadership in the theory and application of the CMV Model. In some cases, when defined by DMs and RSMs, Account Managers and Sr. Account Managers might work with their DM to define resource allocation.Monitor sales incentive payments to ensure that they are in line with sales representative performancesSubmit salary administration requests for district personnel as appropriateActively participate in the annual performance review process, complete the Self-Assessment section in Workday, take into account business results and Talent and Team Development Results and progress against goals from the year priorWork with Manager to set goals for the upcoming yearDrive your own Individual Development Plan (IDP), with support and input from ManagerResponsible for full cycle annual performance review of direct reports; provide input on hiring decisions, termination decisions, bonus allocations and account assignmentsParticipate in the recruiting process with the Sales Manager to assure appropriate levels of sales and service coverage within Customers/DistrictParticipate in the annual Talent Assessment and Strategic Succession Planning exercise, to assess your team’s leadership potential and plan for the futureAny other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training

Minimum Education And Experience
Bachelor degree required. Fields of Engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or Life Sciences (biology, chemistry, etc) preferredHigh computer applications literacy (Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn internal business systems)Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsPrior experiences that demonstrates strong ethics, effective time management, ability to multitask, adaptability, autonomy and self-motivationWater treatment or specialty chemical industry experience. Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems (if applicable to business group)Specialty chemical industry experience. Working knowledge of Extraction, Upgraders, Refineries, and/or process related systems (if applicable to business group)Well Construction, Stimulation, Reservoir and Drilling FundamentalsWell EconomicsAccount leadership experience that includes calling on multilevel plant or facilities management to accomplish company goalsGood negotiation and problem resolution skillsStrong work ethic and ability to use own initiative. Able to work independently with a high level of accountabilityFluency in English both verbal and written. Portuguese language would be an advantage
