Your mission

Under the authority of the Project Manager, the Project Engineer mission is to coordinate the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Assembly and Testing offshore operations activities during all the Project phases. In conformity with our company specifications and HSE rules, and within the agreed budget, schedule and the SOR.

The service is in Luanda, Angola, inside the Project Brownfield (PBF). Perimeter of project activities expected to be worldwide.

It is a drilling and Oil&GasProject Budget: Different Projects to be run in parallel, each between 60 MUSD and 400MUSD excluding Drillex The PBF Project is the regeneration of Block 17-17-06 there are 4 FPSOs in the block Grissol, Darla glove

Main Responsibilities

You will be accountable for all project management elements delegated by the Project Manager. As well as accountable for the performance and objectives achievement of the projects.

You will assist the Project Manager in the coordination of all transverse activities by ensuring:
that all phases (basic engineering, contracting process, engineering, procurement, fabrication, and installation) on different projects run in parallel at different stages are performed in conformity with the SOR and our companies’ technical specifications, budget, planning and HSE rules and objectivesflawless coordination of the project team
Prior any new project execution
To review and comment the SORs and FDPs prepared by DB17/ADPAssist the preparation of the project budget, planning and contractual strategyTo assist in developing the project execution plan (including the scope to be delegated to other TEPA entities (DT/PCP and DT/EPT), the project organization (maximizing the synergies with PBF transverse organization) and the required means to ensure smooth project development and technical coordinationAssist coordination, as required and with the assistance of PBF Project Control entity, the preparation of the Call for TendersAssist and coordinate, with the assistance of Project Control entity, the PBF Packages team when applicable for the negotiations for any new Contract or Purchase OrderTo assist in the preparation of GHG intensity calculations for new projects validation as per Group Referential and TEPA ambition
During Project Execution
To ensure the application of PBF/HSE plan and all HSE TEPA requirements, with the assistance of PBF HSEQ managerTo participate to the progress follow-up and reportingTo ensure the schedule is met, to provide the relevant data to PBF planning engineers for consolidation, to identify any clashes with other TEPA activities and to manage their resolutionTo ensure, with the assistance of PBF HSEQ manager, that the control and follow up of the quality are in place from engineering to project completionTo assist the Project Manager in the coordination of the interfaces between the different TEPA entitiesTo assist Project Manager to ensure proper information and reporting is delivered to Partners and Concessionaire, maintaining constructive relationship with themTo assist to timely and efficiently hand the installations over to the DB17/FO at the end of the development phase
General
Within the Infills Project Department, the job holder is responsible to manage, monitor follow up and improve the implemented interface process internal and external the Infills Entity but within TEPA perimeter. Timely get all deliverables issued by corresponding stakeholders and entities under delegated scope and have all interfaces duly and timely closed out The job holder develops and maintain the overall Infills project key performance Indicators Dashboard updated regularlyTo be informed of project Engineering related Company Specifications (GS’s/GR’s), international norms and standards, taking knowledge from them to application to the Project. Raise consequently necessary comments and highlight unsafe design, deviations, unacceptable / unjustified design choices, constructability issuesTo remain flexible to address various subjects and be ready to jump from one activity to another in the spectrum of project management tasksTo ensure that safe and ethic working practices are carried out within the project team and the various contractorsTo gather external ‘lessons learnt’ applicable for Infills projects and consolidate internal ‘lessons learnt’ to provide feedback to other TOTALENERGIES E&P entities as requiredTo participate, following a Lean approach, to the identification of any process/method improvement within PBF activities, and the development of resulting new procedures and/or IT tools
Required Skills
HSEQ Engineering degree +5 years of professional experienceSolid Oil and gas experience Advanced English Native Portuguese
